Hope was professionally hunt trained by AKC Field Judge Buck Henderson.  She is a fully finished gun dog and retrieves to the hand.

Sport finished his SH at age 1 year and MH at age 2.  While his MH title is due to great training, I do believe trainability and cooperation is an inherited trait.  Please take your time to look at his pedigree.  It takes a huge investment to finish a dog to Master Hunter and we've chosen Sport to do it!

Sport is by no means a close hunter but he is not too far out either.  He's bred for the foot hunter.  We're not on horseback, we want a dog who hunts for us and that's exactly what he does.

Sport has never been force fetched due to his natural retrieving instincts.  From the time he was an 8 week old puppy he was retrieving the feather wrapped bumper.  Today he is fully trained through Masters, steady to shot, shot to fall, retrieve to the hand, whoa broke, and honors his bracemate.  Here is a VIDEO  of Sport running in Seniors.  My paid handler was not available this day so my husband stepped in to help.  In Seniors, dogs are allowed to leave after the shot.  In Masters, dogs leave on command (tap the head)  Sport was already trained through Masters but we were stair stepping starting with Seniors.  I'm just explaining why I'm calling my husband stupid in this video :) The video still shows Sport's stylish point, steadiness and retrieve.

In the house Sport is a pleasure to live with.  He is kind, calm and affectionate.
